How this site uses cookies

The types we distinguish
Essential cookies remember something the site needs in order to respect a choice you made, such as whether the notice should stay hidden. Analytics cookies would measure how pages are visited. This site sets one essential cookie. It does not set analytics cookies, and rejecting the notice does not turn any page off.

The same choice is also kept in this browser's local storage under the key senseripple-cookie-consent. Local storage is not a cookie, but it serves the same memory. Clearing site data removes both.
Accept and reject
On the first visit a notice offers Accept and Reject, with equal room to choose either. Accept stores the value accepted. Reject stores the value rejected. Both choices dismiss the notice. Neither choice is required before you read a page, send an inquiry, or telephone the chart room.
Third-party requests
Pages request typeface files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) so the serif lettering can load. Those requests can reveal your IP address to Google. We do not add advertising cookies, social-media pixels, or an analytics suite. If Google sets a cookie of its own while serving a font file, that cookie is theirs; you can block it in the browser without affecting the inquiry form.
How to manage or disable cookies
You can delete sr_consent and the local storage key in your browser settings, under site data for senseripple.click. You can also block cookies for this site entirely. The notice will then appear again on the next visit, because the site will have forgotten the choice. Browser makers document this under privacy or site settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge each keep the control in a slightly different menu.
If you disable them
Blocking the consent cookie changes only the memory of your choice. The readings, the fees, the field notes, and the inquiry form continue to work. The form posts to a static address on this site and does not depend on the cookie. Blocking Google Fonts may cause the pages to fall back to a standard serif; the words remain readable.
